Serving Associations since 1986

Originally incorporated as DW Rome PC, a certified public accounting Professional Corporation. DW Rome developed a specialty in accounting, advisory and tax work for associations. Over the years the company not only served as a tax advisor and preparor, but also organized and created several organizations, including; preparing articles of incorporation, bylaws, and filing for exempt status. DWRome also prepared advisory articles for publications on topics such as UBIT (Unrelated Business Income Tax) and other subjects.

Association Management

Eventually, DWRome PC’s concentration led to managing associations, including a professional organization and an industry trade group. i4a™ staff has experience in everything from meeting planning, to registrations, to strategic planning.

Focus on Technology

In 1996 internet4associations® (i4a) was organized as a unit of DWRome PC. We recognized the importance of the emerging internet and the significance it had for associations. Within a year, DWRome PC’s accounting and consulting practices were sold in order to focus entirely on providing web solutions for associations.

Continued Growth

i4a is, and has always been privately owned. It is not a venture capital start-up and has no venture capital funding. i4a owns all of the equipment used to provide the services it offers. Our software solutions are our own, developed by us. We are committed to continuously improving our solutions, based on input from our association customers, and changing technologies. When you need us, we will be there.
